We test all the vehicles beyond the limits to give you the actual maximum mileage, after which you can expect them to go to heaven. Our rigorous testing requires strenuous amounts of research across multiple platforms.
We took a pool of nineteen thousand one hundred and ten Nissan Rogues on sale in the US. We then performed one of the most subtle yet straightforward reliability tests; we noted the odometer reading for miles traveled. After all the calculations, we have given all the data in a table for ease.
We divided the data into four mileage intervals and calculated the percentage of Nissan Rogues within the set range.

From the years of accumulated automotive experience, we know that if a vehicle can show more than 3% in the 150k+ miles category, it is deemed reliable. However, the Nissan Rogue could not cross that barrier—not to mention the enormous gap. The Rogue only had 1.83% of them able to cross the 150k+ miles mark.
When we looked at the rest of the data, the result was very disappointing. Most of the Nissan Rogues haven’t even crossed a hundred thousand miles. As you can see, there are only 8.11% within the 100k–149k miles, while the rest is resting up to 100k miles.
This data suggests that the Nissan Rogue can only be a good choice if it has yet to cross the 100k miles mark. If this 100k mile is breached, the Rogue will start acting rogue. Let’s compare the Nissan Rogue vs. Honda CR-V. The sample size for both the Rogue and CR-V is about the same. As you can see, there are 1000+ Honda CR-Vs that were able to cross the 150k+ miles. On the other hand, the Nissan Rogue only had 351 of them crossing the 150k+ miles.
When we compared the highest mileage data, the numbers were astonishing for the Honda CR-V and not astonishing for the Nissan Rogue. CR-Vs can go 400k+ miles, while the Nissan Rogue can only go up to 220k miles and would then think about retirement.

All the Nissan models we looked at had around 5% of them crossing the 150k+ mile barrier making Nissan a reliable brand. For the highest mileage data, it turns out that most Nissans can hit 300k miles before thinking of going to heaven.
