How Much Does A Dodge Charger Weigh Compared To It’s Competitors?
Finally, we feel it’s a good idea to compare the weight of the Dodge Charger with its competitors to get a feel for how light or heavy this car really is. For this, we chose its four main 2021 competitors.
We can immediately see in the table below that the Charger’s minimum curb weight is by far the heaviest of them all. Only the Stinger GT comes close, but with almost 4,000 pounds, the Charger is no lightweight.
The same can be said for the maximum curb weight. The Charger is by far the heaviest. However, that’s of course also because there’s a Hellcat included here, which is, of course, somewhat of a special car. However, without the Hellcat, the Charger would still come close to 4,300 pounds, which is heavier than the competition.
Make/Model | Minimum Curb Weight (lbs) | Maximum Curb Weight (lbs) |
2021 Dodge Charger | 3,964 | 4,586 |
2021 Kia Stinger GT | 3,829 | 4,023 |
2021 Ford Mustang | 3,532 | 3,825 |
2021 Chevrolet Camaro | 3,351 | 4,120 |
2021 Chevrolet Corvette | 3,535 | 3,637 |
